Colorado's top destinations
Colorado’s top destinations for leisure seekers include its renowned Denver ski resort and stunning natural wonders. Rest in the capital will appeal to those who enjoy snowboarding as well as those who enjoy skiing and climbing in general. In addition to providing direct sporting fun, Denver ski resorts arrange hikes through gorgeous forests; visitors can choose from a vast array of sports bases and facilities. Mountains have always captured my heart. When I started traveling frequently, this sense just grew stronger. So far as you can tell, Colorado, a state in the Rocky Mountains, is the best location. It offers a wide variety of beautiful natural sights that are great for any blog. There are several places worth seeing for everyone. I’ll discuss some of these fascinating locations in this blog post.
Colorado’s top destinations:
Where to begin
Colorado is not the first state to visit if you are a novice tourist. Keep in mind that only the strong and brave are drawn to the mountains. If you are planning a vacation to Colorado’ natural landmarks, I can advise you to use “Jооble” in order to find a travel consultant to make sure your vacation will be perfect.
NATURAL LANDMARKS I WOULD ADVISE TO VISIT IN COLORADO
Anyone who has ever been to Colorado once falls in love with these mountains, a raging river and unforgettable snowy ski resorts.
The Garden of the Gods
The Garden of the Gods, a designated National Natural Landmark, is a striking landscape with 300-foot-tall jagged stone towers and fins, enormous partially mitigated stones and rock piles scattered throughout, and distant mountains to complete the picture. You may get up close to impressive cliffs and meander through fantastical landscapes on the fifteen miles of paths, most of which are short and simple.
Activities
Rock climbing is a common activity in the park, but it also offers other activities including mountain biking, horseback riding, vehicle and ride trips, as well as cycling on purpose built bike trails.

Colorado River
Since the Grand Canyon was just recently mapped, the Colorado River has become a very famous landmark. What was my amazement when I first visited the Grand Canyon and understood that the Colorado River, which slowly continues to chisel its way into the rocks, was the reason it was formed. Since the Indians have traditionally owned these locations, particularly the Monument District, they have served as the primary backdrop for western cinematography since ancient times. On reservations, the Navajo people still call.
Mesa Verde National Park
Mesa Verde National Park is located in the southwestern part of the state of Colorado, in the town of Montezuma Country. The total area of the park is about two hundred square kilometers, and the height difference ranges between 1900 and 2600 meters above sea level. The main attraction of the park are the numerous ruins of stone dwellings created in weathered sandstone canyons by an ancient people, better known as the Anasazi Indian tribe. These buildings were erected in the 13th century and are the first example of an “apartment building” in the history of American architecture. The number of residential visits in such houses was up to one hundred individual rooms.
Richard Weatherill
The name of the park was given in honor of the plateau of the same name, rising 1968.5 ft. (600 meters) above the surrounding area, the slopes of which are covered with coniferous forest. Mesa Verde means “Green Table” in Spanish. The popularity of these places began to rise in the second half of the 19th century, when Spanish explorers began to understand the value of the ancient rocks for the life of the Indians. The first explorer of Mesa Verde was Richard Weatherill, an amateur historian who studied the history of the Pueblo, in addition, the archaeological work of the Swedish geologist Gustav Nordenskiöld was of great importance.
In 1906, in order to protect antiquities from possible vandalism, Mesa Verde received the official status of a national park, and 60 years later entered the US National Register of Historic Places. Since September 1978, the park has been included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List.

Rocky Mountains National Park
There is hardly a place in the United States suitable for mountaineering and rock climbing more than the territory of the Rocky Mountains National Park. It is located on both sides of the Dividing Range and includes almost a third of the entire state. A distinctive feature of these rocks is an unusual slope of the surface and a variety of cracks and ledges, allowing you to easily overcome long distances. The only difficulty is choosing a comfortable season for climbing.
Bear Lake
Highland Lake is a beloved and scenic trail and destination in Rocky Mountain National Park. Alpine Lake, located at an altitude of 9450 feet, lies under the sheer slopes of Hallett Peak. There are several popular trails here, from easy to strenuous hikes, starting from the lake.

EXCELLENT Based on 25 reviews Mark Brown2023-09-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Experience was simply fantastic! The driver showed up punctually for our Red Rocks show and even waited for us despite the rain. He promptly picked us up afterwards. The 10 person luxury Van comfortably accommodated 8 of us. I am confident in recommending InterMountain Express Van and would definitely use their Red Rocks shuttle services again. I am grateful for making my son's birthday an unforgettable one. Thanks to the InterMountain Express rocks limo. Jason Raitano2023-01-10Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our connecting flight from Denver --> Aspen was cancelled and InterMountain Express got us to Snowmass last-minute during snowy conditions. The Suburban was impeccable, outfitted with snow tires, and was more than enough space for may family of five and all our ski gear. We had to pay an added premium for the last-minute service - it is my understanding that pre-planned trips rand for 1/2 the cost - but it was an expense well worth it to get my family safely to our resort and on the slopes on schedule the following day. Petrick Portella2022-10-28Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service that is consistently reliable and on schedule. I've been using Ringo as my driver to the Denver International Airport for the past five years, and I heartily recommend him to all of my friends and family. So, if you ever find yourself in the Denver region and require trustworthy quality service, I highly recommend that you get in touch with Intermountain Express Limo service. The driver was very nice and provided us with tips for navigating the Denver Airport. All passengers felt extremely comfortable in the car and with the driver. So much better than a shuttle service!
