Aspen ranks number one in the United States for the variety of apres-ski activities. Aspen has 125 restaurants, 47 bars, 5 cafes, 4 movie theaters, 7 discos, and 30 art galleries. In Snowmass there are another 20 restaurants, 12 bars, 3 cafes, a concert hall, 4 galleries.
A magnificent view opens from the famous peaks of the Maroon Bells (4,247 m) with two peaks, North Maroon Peak and Maroon Peak – a kind of Colorado Twin Peaks. The amazingly beautiful place Glenwood Springs (Glenwood Springs) – once lived here by the Ute Indians, and now here is a balneological resort with the world’s largest hot spring pool. Nearby is the White River Forest Preserve and the picturesque Glenwood Canyon. The White River National Forest offers excellent conditions for recreation and entertainment.
