Colorado Springs – things to do in the fall

THE MOST ATTRACTIVE FESTIVALS IN COLORADO SPRINGS AREA

Who said that the best vacation could only be at the ski resorts? This fall, local organizers are ready to “turn on the heat” and hold unforgettable concerts and festivals. A great way to diversify your everyday life and have fun from the heart after a difficult week is to go there with friends and loved ones. We can safely say that the choice is quite large and everyone can find what he likes. What to do on the weekend on a Labor Day. Check out our selection of things to do in Colorado Springs in the fall

  1. Colorado Renaissance Festival

This festival was inspired by tradition in Europe to organize annual Renaissance fairs, or festivals (Renaissance fair, Renaissance faire, or Renaissance festival), something like folklore holidays. Naturally, they are associated with costumed performances, medieval (you can put an equal sign – folklore) music, etc. fishery for sale, taste specially prepared food. The main attraction of this festival is the multitude of actors, both professionals and amateurs, who play certain historical figures, wander around the festival and talk to the public, entertain them. Historical costumes are welcome among visitors, as well as historical weapons from the era in which the Fair takes place. There are vendors at the festival who can sell or rent historical costumes to any visitor so they can better immerse themselves in the era itself.

  1. Monu-Palooza

In honor of the beginning of autumn, on September 4, at Limbarch Park, local people arrange a youth music festival “Monument’s Hometown Music Festival”. “Monument’s Hometown Music Festival” is music, friends, emotions. 7 best artists gathered on one stage at one event. Presale tickets are $12 and tickets at the door are $20.

  1. Rocky Mountain Pig Lig

The festival is a unique atmosphere, an original location, an active audience, headliners who blew up the music charts, a large area of bars and restaurants, games and outdoor entertainment.

It is about fall, freedom and bright moments of life. Here, every guest can do whatever he wants.

Only on Pig Lig invited popular headliners with a fresh look at creativity -The Jeffrey Alan Band and Ashlee & the Longshot Revival. They are part of an old generation of rock artists who are not popular on Tik Tok and other social networks. You should hurry up if you want to buy a ticket with a discount, today the price is 30$, then it will be increased to 40$. The festival will occur on 10th of September.

  1. Meadow Grass Music Festival

The festival is traditionally considered the strongest line-up event in Colorado Springs. Each year, it shows who from the universe of different styles of music have been noted for productive activity: for 2 days, almost everyone you can wish to see performs in the Colorado Springs. Along with the most talked about performers of the past twelve months from locals, there are also distinguished artists from other countries.

  1. Briarfest

Traditionally, Briarfest will host not only musicians’ performances, but also master classes, exhibitions, performances and carnival. And this year, the fest of music, creativity and technology is also expanding: it opens a new exhibition space, organizes a platform for networking and renews the music crowd. In general, it turns out “three in one” – a good option for those who are looking for “a little bit of everything.”

  1. Territory Days

This festival is one of those where we want to go every year, but every year something goes wrong. If you are a little more relaxed in planning your summer, we advise you to pay attention to “Territory Days”: this is a great opportunity to spend days in nature, immerse yourself in a friendly atmosphere and, of course, listen to a good music! This year, the program at Territory Days will bring together musical events, each of which reflects the unique style, outlook and emotions of the artists. These are presentations, parties, performances and collaborations, the format of which the musicians come up with themselves.

Despite the fact that the festival is dedicated specifically to music, there are many other interesting things: art objects, music, performances, and even a carnival. The entrance is free.

  1. Labor Day Lift Off

Flying in a hot air balloon is a great way to get the unforgettable experience of a lifetime. Numerous international balloon festivals take place around the world every year, when dozens of colorful “balloons” soar into the sky. This is a unique opportunity to see familiar places from above, take great photos and enjoy amazing landscapes. This festival lasts from Sept. 3-5 at Memorial Park, 1605 E. Pikes Peak Ave. The entrance is free.

Experience was simply fantastic! The driver showed up punctually for our Red Rocks show and even waited for us despite the rain. He promptly picked us up afterwards. The 10 person luxury Van comfortably accommodated 8 of us. I am confident in recommending InterMountain Express Van and would definitely use their Red Rocks shuttle services again. I am grateful for making my son's birthday an unforgettable one. Thanks to the InterMountain Express rocks limo.

Our connecting flight from Denver --> Aspen was cancelled and InterMountain Express got us to Snowmass last-minute during snowy conditions. The Suburban was impeccable, outfitted with snow tires, and was more than enough space for may family of five and all our ski gear. We had to pay an added premium for the last-minute service - it is my understanding that pre-planned trips rand for 1/2 the cost - but it was an expense well worth it to get my family safely to our resort and on the slopes on schedule the following day.

Excellent service that is consistently reliable and on schedule. I've been using Ringo as my driver to the Denver International Airport for the past five years, and I heartily recommend him to all of my friends and family. So, if you ever find yourself in the Denver region and require trustworthy quality service, I highly recommend that you get in touch with Intermountain Express Limo service.

Such great service! Arrived early and assisted with carrying and loading baggage. The driver was very nice and provided us with tips for navigating the Denver Airport. All passengers felt extremely comfortable in the car and with the driver. So much better than a shuttle service!

I was very pleased with the service of InterMountain Express. They arrived on time and communication made the process so easy. Our driver Elze was great. After scrambling to get a new flight because our flight had been cancelled, it was so nice to relax for the drive to Vail. I will definitely use InterMountain again and will recommend them to others.
